Hockey Games 2-2-2012

Last night a few games did not go the way that I thought they would. Solid bets the games just did not fall the way I suspected. Carolina at Boston My pick: Over 5.5 Reaason: Canes had been a solid over team until the month of January. I have a feeling that this game will be a high scoring game of like 4-3 or 5-3 game. Montreal at New Jersey My pick: New Jersey moneyline Reason: NJ needs a game like this to continue their push for the playoffs. No way they will slip up tonight. Nashville at Philadelphia Pick Over 5.5 Reason: Surprised myself here. With Nashville normally being an under team just something about this matchup makes me believe this will be an over. Philly coming off of a one goal game it has all the makings of an over. Winnepeg at Tampa Bay Pick Over 5.5 Reason: Going to keep riding Tampa Bay over until they stop. Minnesota at Colorado Pick Colorado Reason: Just taking the home team. Chicago at Edmonton Pick Over 5.5 Reason: This would be my lock of the night. I really do see a lot of up and down action in this game with two teams that should be able to score goals. Detroit at Vancouver Pick Over 5.5 Reason: Games have been split this year on over/under with 2-0 and 4-2 game respectivly. I picked over just keeping with the trend of overs in Vancouver. Dallas at San Jose Pick Over 5.5 Reason: Over 5.5 was a +125 and to win that type of money was too much to pass up espcially since both teams have been scoring more lately. Hockey Games

I like to bet on certain sports and I will post what I think will happen. Right now I am riding a winning streak on hockey. NY Rangers at Buffalo. My bet Over 5 Reason: Rangers played over last night against New Jersey and Buffalo is coming off a victory last night against Montreal. Normally back to backs will create a little more sloppy plays and I'm predicting an over 5 bet here. Pittsburgh at Toronto. My bet Toronto moneyling Reason: I would have to say that after last night's game the Penguins 9 game win streak has to be coming to an end soon. Toronto was all over the Penguins last night and the result last night was rather shocking with Pitt scoring such a late goal. Washington at Florida My bet Washington moneyline Reason: Washington has owned the SE division and until someobdy comes and knocks them off I see no reason to take Florida. Florida has been floundering as of late and I like seeing Washington at a +125. Good moneyline play here. Dallas at Anaheim My bet Under 5.5 Reason: Previous results and trends show that this game should be below 5.5. Columbus at LA My bet Under 5 Reason: LA is playing Columbus. Columbus sucks. LA probably can't score 6 goals like San Jose last night. See a 2-1 game maybe 3-1 with LA winning.

Bobcats Game

I finally was able to attend a Bobcats game and boy did I attend a good one. I mean that in the best possible way of seeing two 3-15 play. The game I ended up seeing was the Washington Wizards vs the Bobcats. I have to say that I am impressed with the TWC Arena. It's completely different from what I am use to and I have to say it was for sure made for suites and business customers in downtown Charlotte. I did enjoy the amenities at TWC. They sure do like to show the dancers on the big screen. All in all I had a pretty good time just hope one day that the Bobcats will be better.

Been a long time

I haven't blogged in a long time, but it's time to start looking again at sports. I feel as though the NFL has been pretty good so far this year. I do not believe that this season will be too unpreditable. I see the Packers/Patriots supper bowl with the Packers repeating as champs. I do though see the Lions making the playoffs. If I had predictions at this I would say:

sports take 11-18-09

I've always been a huge basketball fan. Being from North Carolina helps that. ESPN did that 24 hour hoops Marathon and that is good for the game. 6 AM game was a great concept for kids who will probably never be on national TV. More people probably know where Liberty University is now. Plus with close games for the number 1 and 2 teams in the nation last night its setting up to be a fantastic basketball season.

Not really much on tonight. Two MAC football games on tonight that probably won't be much to watch. CMU vs Ball St. Was a key matchup last year but with Nate Davis leaving last year game does not have much intrigue.

Sports Take 11-17-09

I pretty much have three things on mind today.

The first thing is sometimes when you watch the NHL Center Ice can be fun. Tonight the Canes play the Montreal Canadians and FS Carolina is not covering the game. Tonight I get to watch hockey in FRENCH. I know nothing in French, so the volume will be off. I think the Canes will continue tonight with trying to turnaround their piss poor season

Second thing is the Bobcats made a splash with the trade for Jackson. I mean he is probably the best player the Bobcats have ever had. It will be interesting to see how the chemistry will be with this team. If they get hot I could start thinking playoffs.

Third thing is that Jimmie Johnson is the man. I've always thought of him as Gordon Light, but he's the man now. If NASCAR doesn't want him to be the champion all they need to do is change the races in the Chase. Until that happens he is going to keep winning because the guy is so smooth. Its never flashy he just dominates. Until another time Easy E out.
